Move more
For people with heart disease, exercise can keep symptoms in check and prevent problems from getting worse. The heart is a muscle and like any other muscle it needs physical activity to be healthy, regular physical activity will improve blood flow to your heart muscle and will help your heart to become stronger and more efficient.
An effective way to sit less and move more is to use a step counter, either worn at hip level or as a smartphone application.
